answers that we'll never find

YES. BOYS LIKE GIRLS.

i really wanted to like them when their first album came out, but it was pretty weak so i wasn't too in love with it. i think that the singer has a pretty good voice for that kind of music, though and some of the songs were really sick so i followed along. but they have a new album now...
LOVE DRUNK.
genius. love it. it's everything i loved about the first album, without the stuff that i didn't love. it definitely on repeat on my iPod right now. totally digging Real Thing (track 6, y'all). anybody else loving them? anybody buy the new album? (it's totally retarded that i talk to my readers like there's so many of them when there's only three...)
SO ANYWAY. SUMMER.
my summer was pretty boring. spent a lot of time with my boy, Gabe. spent a lot of time at the mall and at the skate park. that's right! i tried to pick up skateboarding this summer which was .. an epic fail. i broke my ankle. lots of blood. very gross. needless to say, i dropped that hobby. i think i'll stick with endless window shopping. i spent a lot of time at the mall, but didn't get out to see any good movies. that was a bummer, but i'll get over it.
THE SUMMERY OF MY SUMMER.
like a good kid, i spent the whole time outside. the town i live in is really small, so there isn't much to do or see. there's this pretty sick hill that's the unofficial snowboarding in the hill come winter time. once i tripped on a fucking rock and rolled down that thing. it hurt like hell, but it was like a weird fun thing that me and my friends did all the time during the summer. it was actually pretty wicked fun, as painful as it sounds. blogging it back, it sounds pretty stupid, but it was fun for whatever reason. i think that it only hurt the first time because i really wasn't expecting it. shut up, i know that doesn't make sense. whatever. me and my friends have always been kind of the dare-devil-thrill-seeker kids. call us typical, but who isn't?
AND THEN THERE WAS SCHOOL.
yeah, that shit is back. at my school, they have no sense of balance. it's so annoying. it's either so boring that it's like pulling teeth to have to spend so many hours there, or it's way too dramatic to even be enjoyable. well, it was like that last year. hoping things will be different this year. we'll have to wait and see, i guess.
CHEERLEADERS ANYONE?
the town i live in is actually so small, we don't even have our own sports teams. which means no cheerleaders. i mean, i'm kind of GAY so i'm okay with not having hot girls at my disposal, but i was totally looking forward to reenacting Bring It On. they were talking about adding a sports team to our school over the summer, but they decided not to. i guess now i can avoid the flood of seemingly nice boys turning into meat head jocks. and one more thing...
DO YOU BELIEVE IN OUR SONGS?
i've always tried not to pick out songs for different situations or relationships in my life, but it's surprisingly hard not to do! sometimes you just hear a song and without thinking it just reminds you of something or somebody. we can't help it! neither can i and it totally sucks because i hate it when people do that. anybody have some kind of cure? i hate doing it but i can't seem to stop myself. so obnoxious.
WELL...
i better go and do something useful with the rest of my day. but before you go, don't forget to follow me on twitter if you have one. see you around blogger, ladies and gents.
